Well Placed HR is delighted to be supporting a well-established charity in the recruitment of an experienced Senior HR Advisor.

The Role
As Senior HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll support day-to-day HR activity, coach managers through people challenges, and contribute to wider initiatives that support the organisation’s people strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and guidance on a range of employee relations matters, including performance, absence and conduct issues
- Supporting recruitment activity and helping managers attract and appoint great people
- Coaching managers on effective people management practices
- Supporting workforce planning and organisational development activities
- Contributing to employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
- Supporting the consistent application of HR policies and procedures
- Using HR data and reporting to identify trends and support decision-making
About You
We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who is confident working with managers and enjoys providing practical, solutions-focused HR support.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience managing a range of employee relations cases
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be desirable
