Executive Assistant
Permanent - Full-Time - Hybrid Working (Newquay, Cornwall)
There’s a lot to consider when moving on to a new job opportunity. The role responsibilities need to suit, the remuneration needs to be attractive and the future prospects need to be bright. But perhaps one of the most important, and often overlooked, factors to consider is a strong belief in your new employer’s values and the nature of their operation. If working with a highly ethical organisation that genuinely changes & improves the world means as much as the job that you’re paid to do, this will undoubtedly be an opportunity that will be of interest.
Well Placed HR are working with an outstanding organisation based in Newquay as they seek to recruit an Executive Assistant to work alongside their Executive Director and wider team.
This is far more than a traditional EA role. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced, mission-led organisation, managing complex diaries, coordinating high-level stakeholder engagement, organising events and international travel, and ensuring executive priorities are delivered seamlessly.
What you'll be doing as Executive Assistant:
- Managing complex diaries, inboxes, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Acting as a key liaison between senior leadership, staff, and external stakeholders
- Preparing briefings, reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
- Coordinating events, leadership meetings, and international travel
- Supporting project delivery, fundraising activities, and office operations
- Taking ownership of actions and ensuring priorities are progressed effectively
The ideal Executive Assistant will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Executive Assistant role
- Outstanding organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and discretion
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience supporting senior executives in a fast-moving environment
- Project coordination, events, NGO or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous
The Package:
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary £41k with 25 days annual leave and generous Christmas close down opportunity
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in Cornwall and 2 days working from home
- Flexible working hours (within reason due to role demands)
- Opportunity to work alongside an inspiring leadership team on work that delivers genuine impact
- National and occasional international travel
If you're a proactive, highly organised Executive Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to senior leaders, we'd love to hear from you. If you would like to apply for this role, please forward your CV to Carly Kellow quoting ref: CK11094.
