HR Manager – Plymouth

Well Placed HR are working with a fantastic services business to recruit an experienced HR Manager to join their growing team in Plymouth. You will provide expert HR support with a people-centric attitude and the ability to hit the ground running from day one. This is a busy, fast-paced role that requires adaptability. Knowledge across a variety of sectors would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Act as the lead HR contact for clients, providing responsive and practical HR advice.

- Support projects in people management, business restructuring, and HR initiatives.

- Help develop systems, templates, processes, and new services for the business.

- Contribute to marketing, sales, and business development projects

- Stay up to date with employment law and HR best practice through ongoing professional development.

- Supervise HR workflows, provide reports to Directors, and handle enquiries and complaints professionally.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Strong HR knowledge and experience dealing with people at all level of seniority. 

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

- Commitment to professional development and maintaining up-to-date HR knowledge.

- A collaborative, proactive approach and a commitment to values of dignity, diversity, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will be a senior-level Human Resources professional, ideally CIPD Level 5 or above, although candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. You will have up-to-date knowledge in all areas of employment law and be able to handle HR issues from end to end without supervision. Broad employee relations experience is essential, as this is a highly diverse and varied role.

Additional Information:

- Full or part time permanent position on offer. 

- Fully office-based with parking in Plymouth

- Some local travel required but you will have access to a pool car for this. 

- Salary is negotiable for the right candidate
